For ZSE Slovakia, a member of E.ON Group and e-mobility service provider, the objective was to plan continuous EV charging network and deploy 15 DC fast chargers and 5 intermodal AC chargers with coverage of TEN-T core network corridors to establish EV driving as a realistic option for consumers, with seamless mobility to neighbouring countries.

More about Project East-E

The Operator needed to define planning approach, design the network and optimise the set of prime locations for the pilot deployment. The selection and planning criteria shall include also deployment of intermodal sites.

The outcome comprised the definition of planning methodology for site selection, development of list of prime locations incl. back-up sites for further deployment. The gradually deployed EV charging network at urban and long-distance travelling sites is visible on the map of ZSE Drive service.
